Sababa Featured on NEW Ami Aloni CD!

When our good friend and colleague Sam Glaser asked Sababa to be a part of a project honoring beloved Jewish composer, film scorer, and musical genius, Aminadav Aloni (z”l), we had no idea of the scope and breadth of his music.  Along with many of our friends in contemporary Jewish music (including Stacey Beyer, Sam Glaser, Todd Herzog, Josh Nelson, Rick Recht, Craig Taubman, Julie Silver, Michelle Citrin, Beth Schafer, Magda Fishman, Kathy Robbins, Ilan Davidson, Kenny Ellis, and Ruti Braier) we recorded one of Aloni’s melodies, a version of “Hodu Ladonai Ki Tov” (give thanks for God is good).  What an honor to be included in this wonderful project!  The album is now for sale through the Jewish Music Commission at www.jewishmusicla.org.
